Words from Terra’s Founder

WARM HINT: 1. This day is crucial for first-time tourists entering Tibet. Lhasa is about 3650 meters above sea level, and its oxygen content is only 65% of that of Mainland China. Most guests will experience altitude reactions to varying degrees. In addition to maintaining a normal mindset, avoiding vigorous exercise, drinking more water, eating more fruits, and adequate rest are the best ways to prevent altitude sickness. If you feel unwell, please contact the tour guide to go to the hospital for treatment in a timely manner. 2. On the evening of arriving in Lhasa, please do not wash your hair/take a shower, and be careful to prevent catching a cold; There is a large temperature difference between morning and evening in Lhasa, please pay attention to keeping warm to avoid causing altitude sickness. 3. Most of the local hotels in Tibet use solar water heaters. Sometimes the hot water may not be too hot. Please understand. 4. The accommodation conditions in Tibet are limited, and there will be some differences from the same level hotels in Chinese Mainland. Please be mentally prepared.
